there’s a really funny story that happened the day these pics were taken. something about me having to pretend and escape someone. haha.
it was kinda irritating at first because plans were changed suddenly and i had to do something to still make it work. it was also nerve-racking in the middle but funny when i finally did it. haha.
ps. Ms. Philippines Shamcey Supsup got the fourth place in Ms. Universe pageant this day. proud of her! i’m glad i was able to watch the show.

frayed shorts + new sneaks

i still remember waiting very long for kuya to arrive in the apartment to pick me up. had i not called that morning he wouldn’t have waken up. haha. instead of sevenish in the morning, we went home around noon. turned out the ac was broken so it was really hot plus the traffic equals too much pawis. i was glad i wore shorts.

these are my newest addition to my closet.
these CONVERSE gray slim sneakers are a gift from gel for my birthday! love them! i wore them right away last monday and again last tuesday. very comfy and cute :) you know… sneaker girl :D
and this is the one that i couldn’t resist not buying last saturday. this and the sneaks above have been on my MUST HAVE list for the longest time and i’m so glad to finally have them now!!!

monochromatic birthday
i wasn’t really planning to wear this ensemble. i think it was rather simple and it looks like my fist outfit pic. haha.
i was planning to wear a skirt for a change and be girly. it is very seldom of me to wear skirts. i must be in the mood. haha. i don’t really feel comfortable in them. too girly for me. and i am not.
i changed my mind and wore pants instead. i was planning to wear heels to make use of my pumps and be tall for once. :) i planned to bring my flats with me so that i can change to a more comfortable pair to stroll and shop.
last minute, i changed my mind again and chose to be comfortable. maybe i’m not really that ready to go out of my comfort zone. soon!
at least i put on makeup! haha. i really don’t put on make-up but i decided to put on some that day. it was my birthday! something different. i’ve already changed a lot from the original plan so i kept the make-up (even though when bf arrived i felt like washing my face. feeling shy. haha! weird).

birthday bash!
last sept 3rd was my birthday! yeah, it was. hm. i’m not forever 21. haha. that’s how my boyfriend teases me. luckily it was a saturday so there was no work and i could celebrate. :)
it was a very simple celebration but i think it’s nice enough.
we couldn’t decide where to go and i was also considering my budget. haha. so we ended up in SM Mall of Asia.
first stop was Don Henrico’s. we were starving. we left the apartment without breakfast so restaurant was the first thing in mind. we ordered these:
the first one was the chicken finger salad. it was real yum! i could eat this every morning. i felt really healthy after eating this. haha. healthy because it has very few chicken fingers, fresh veggies and oranges. and have i told you that it’s really yummy? super!
this one’s zitti spaghetti i think… :) it was good too though it could make you really full even though you had someone to share it with. we weren’t able to finish everything. hehe.
and as you see, this one is pizza. haha. Don Henrico’s. we were really full so after eating one slice each we just decided to take the remaining 4 slices out. we ate them the next day. :D

after eating, we strolled for a while and took pictures. then we went inside the mall to looked for his gift. haha, we’re like that. buying gifts on the spot.
i was determined not to buy anything that day. i promised not to until i’ve completed the bonus for the month. but then i saw this denim jacket which was very cheap. i liked the look as well. it was kinda perfect for me. the color, the fit etc. we asked for a smaller size but there was none, so i took it. never did i let it go. haha. well. it’s something that i’ve been wanting to have for a very long time now. most of the jackets i saw before were either not my type or too expensive. when i see something that i love instantly, i grab it. likewise, i don’t buy something that i think is just fine. i have to love it the very first time.
next stop, hypermarket! i was excited to shop groceries. i was planning to prepare a different breakfast the next day. we went home with groceries and 2 things off my list. hehe. the day was simple, kinda tiring but really fun!
